A Definition for π.

The above gives us a simple definition for π

π=Cd

That is, if we take the measurements of the curcumference and diameter, then find their ratio. This ratio is an empirical value for π

Equation of a circle centred at (a,b) in the cartesian plan

(x-a)2+(y-b)2 =r2

If you multiply out the brackets this equation takes the form of

x2+y2+j⁢x+k⁢y+l=0

To go from this form to the original just complete the square twice once with respect to x and then with respect to y.
